PRIVATE aRT AND iCON LESSONS
Having had 14 years of experience with drawing and painting in a variety of media, while also having trained in classical fine art, Orthodox icon painting, and contemporary art at the university level in Florence, Italy and having worked professionally as an iconographer and artist, I am excited to share that I am now offering private 1-on-1 online lessons!

You can choose from a variety subjects to learn - whether it is icon painting or drawing, portrait painting or drawing, or landscape painting, which are all listed with more details further below. These sessions will be thoughtfully tailored to your individual goals, level, and pace.

Each lesson is conducted over Zoom and lasts 2 hours, at a rate of $40 per hour. You’ll receive:

-
Live, step-by-step painting and drawing demonstrations to guide your technique
-
Supportive, real-time feedback to help you grow in your skills and confidence
-
Screen-shared Photoshop corrections to illustrate improvements visually
-
A warm, encouraging atmosphere that celebrates your strengths while strengthening your areas of growth

The first session is completely free of charge, since it will simply be an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to discuss your goals and aspirations for these lessons. It will last for no more than 25 minutes. I also encourage you to show me 1-5 examples of any artwork or icons that you have previously made so that I can also get to know you as an aspiring artist or iconographer as well, especially as it will help me see where your strengths are together with areas that I can help you grow more in. You can send photos of your work via the form below or email them directly to annapolozicons@gmail.com. Or, if you are an absolute beginner with no former artwork or iconography to show me, you can ignore this part, and please know that you are more than welcome to become my student as well.

You’ll find a full list of the available subjects below, each with its own unique focus.

If you're ready to take the next step, simply fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page. Let me know which subject you're interested in learning, your days and times of availability, your country, and your time zone, and I’ll be in touch to schedule your first session.
I look forward to accompanying you on this beautiful journey!
